Skipping pretty far ahead in Disturbed Magic. Tirza has met her father and it did not go well. Kisses and conversation have passed between Kel and Tirza, and Kel is about to cash in a favor from Maresh, a wizard who owes Kel her life. The favor? Teaching Tirza to be a wizard.
“Kel.” Tirza stopped and turned to face the warrior. “I am not taking another step until you tell me what is wrong.”
“My lady,” Kel’s voice was barely a whisper as one hand cupped Tirza’s cheek. “There is something that you do not know about me, and when you find out, my world will be destroyed, because as much as you love me now, you will hate me, despise me. And I will still love you.”
Before Tirza could reply Kel captured her lips, savoring them one last time, then turned and rapped on the door.
Intriguing.
Nice. I want to read about Kel’s big reveal!
You will.
Ooooooh. I might be able to guess, and I’m sure hoping Kel is wrong and it won’t be an issue for Tirza at all. :)
Heh, I love these terrible secrets between partners!
Um. In fiction, I mean! ;)
Hmm, now why would Kel think that?
Things are getting really tricky now. Looking forward to Kel’s secret.
Ooh, nothing’s been easy for these two so far. I wonder what the big reveal might be. Guess I’ll have to read the book to find out
Ooh, I wonder what his secret is! Intriguing.
The dramatic, cool exit, so irresistible, even when they’re walking away. (sighs)
Hmm – I wonder what the secret is.
