A few months ago I changed my work schedule to only four days a week, with Wednesdays off. I thought this would give me more time for writing and associated tasks, as well as being better for my mental, emotional, and physical health.
I was right on the health issues thing, but the more time for writing and what not? Not so much. But maybe once I get the unexpected health issues resolved so that I’m not going to a doctor’s appointment every week things will be better on that front.
But I’m still managing to write my 100 words, and a poem. (I’ll be so happy when this month is over!) I’d love to do more, but I’m so drained by the end of the work day that I can barely function.
(And on non work days I’m taking a medicine that is really doing a number on me, but I’m going to be cutting the dosage in half and hopefully I can come off of it soon, as it doesn’t seem to be as effective as it was at first.)
Meanwhile, it’s the weekend, so it’s going to rain. My plans are laundry, writing, blog hopping, and maybe doing some work in my work area.
