This snippet picks up from last week’s, from my still unnamed FF vampire novel. It’s also extremely raw (as in I’m pretty much writing this for Rainbow Snippet posts until I get the first draft of a different novel finished) so never mind any head-hopping you’ll see in any snippets. Sam has called her sister for help.
“Olivia Elder! She’s the owner of Evernight. They say she’s at the club every night but that she’s very reclusive.”
Sam shrugged. “She seemed nice. And she seemed like she wanted me to come to the club. She gave me a business card and said to show it to the doorman and I’d be admitted.”
Celia shook her head. “You’ve never shown any interest in clubbing before.”
“I’m still not interested in clubbing. Just in the club’s owner.” She looked toward the store and sighed. “Even if it means I have to wear… whatever it is you wear to clubs.”

Love it! Love that line! I never really “clubbed” but I sat around in a lot of bars in the afternoon before it got crowded!
