Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQ+ authors, bloggers, and readers to gather once a week and share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation (no spoilers please!).   Check out all the other awesome snippets by clicking on the picture above.

Bran sighed. “You’re risking too much, Kunda,” he said softly.

“I’m risking nothing. Certainly not anything worth more than their lives. Now hang up your coat and come have some spaghetti and meet my new friends.”

“Let me go change first.”

She nodded. “Probably not a bad idea. I’ll start a new pot of coffee.”

“Are we causing trouble for you?”

Alex’s voice was anxious and she smiled.

“Not at all. You have the right to be here. I have the right to have you here.” Green eyes sparkled with mirth. “The Rev’s been having fits ever since I bought the property and started fixing it up.”
