April 2014 Camp Summary

Well, I did it.  I hit 50,000 words on April 30.  I really hope I never get behind and have to scramble to catch up again – I much prefer having a nice comfy safety net.

Camp did get me back into writing every day, which is what I hoped it would do.  The trick, of course, is to keep doing it. I kind of gave myself yesterday off, and today’s not looking too good.  (I had a fight with my computer this morning and we’re only slightly on speaking terms.)

So, what’s next?

Well, I’m going to keep working on The Other Mages trilogy. I doubt I’ll finish it this year as hoped, but maybe next year – which pushes The Academy of the Accord series back… Again… *sigh*

And now I’m kind of out of excuses for not finishing the editing of Sanguine, so I have to buckle down and do that.

And maybe sometime in between I can find my life…
